Since we produce ghee from the milk taken from healthy, happy Indian breed A2/ Desi cows who are left open to grazing on extensive, naturally rich, biodiverse lands, our desi ghee has a great aroma, color, and taste, and is greatly nourishing.
The hump of the Indian breed A2 / Desi cows is a storehouse of powerful benefits: the specific vein called Surya Ketu Nadi present in the hump produces gold salts in the cow’s blood with the help of solar rays. Consequently, the milk and other body fluids of such cows are rich in these gold salts that have innumerable health benefits.

Madhur Veda’s flagship produce is its wholesome, pure, natural Indian breed A2/ Desi cow ghee handmade in the age-old, traditional, Ayurvedic, Bilona method in the earthen pots in the Brahma muhurt in small batches.
Because of the natural, chemical-free, nutrition-rich milk, Madhur Veda desi ghee has a beautiful natural golden colour. In fact, the Panchgavya (milk, ghee, curd, urine and dung) of our Indian breed A2/ Desi cows are storehouses of power-packed nutrients that empower the consumers with great immunity and overall health.
No harmful chemicals or cruel methods are involved in extraction of milk. In fact, the cows are milked only after they feed their calves. We follow scrupulous practices and follow gentle, tender milking techniques.
The milk obtained from the Indian breed A2/ Desi cow is used to produce curd and buttermilk which are churned slowly in the traditional Bilona method using manual wooden churners. The makkhan thus obtained is slow-heated over cow-dung fire in earthen pots without any chemical or artificial flavours or preservatives.
We also make sure that we prepare the desi ghee through the slow process as mentioned in Ayurveda. We do not take any shortcuts like preparing in large batches or quick heating of milk or makkhan on high-flame.
