No harmful chemicals or cruel methods are involved in extraction of milk. In fact, the cows are milked only after they feed their calves. We follow scrupulous practices and follow gentle, tender milking techniques.

Process of making Madhur Veda desi ghee

The milk obtained from the Indian breed A2/ Desi cow is used to produce curd and buttermilk which are churned slowly in the traditional Bilona method using manual wooden churners. The makkhan thus obtained is slow-heated over cow-dung fire in earthen pots without any chemical or artificial flavours or preservatives.

We also make sure that we prepare the desi ghee through the slow process as mentioned in Ayurveda. We do not take any shortcuts like preparing in large batches or quick heating of milk or makkhan on high-flame.

Thus, the entire process of making Madhur Veda desi ghee is cruelty-free, traditional, ethical, salubrious, and manual which gives the Madhurveda desi ghee its trademark taste, aroma, and health!
